Eli Home Christmas Tree Donation

FreshPoint Southern California is getting ready for the holidays by partnering with the Hilton Anaheim to fund-raise for The Eli Home for Abused Children. Eli Home is a California based foundation that focuses “on breaking the cycle of child abuse and family violence.” The organization “strengthens victims of child abuse and neglect, and prepares them to reenter the community to lead stable, nonviolent lives, free from fear and intimidation.”

Every year Eli Home hosts a silent auction at the Hilton, inviting partnering companies to donate a decorated Christmas tree for the “Christmas Tree Lane.” The silent auction takes place while the trees are on display in the lobby. This year they had fifteen trees donated, worth between $750 and $3,600.

We participated by donating a fully decorated Christmas tree, nicked named the Christmas Explosion. Denise Alvarez, Bella Marvelli, and Dawn Morris had a blast designing and decorating the seven-foot tree with over 200 ornaments and elf legs popping out! Teodoro Protano and Verne Lusby joined Denise and Bella at the lighting ceremony to kick off the bidding of the trees.
