It's Wallpaper Wednesday...and all this year it's been all things local. This month: Hawai’i. Did you know, we work with over 85 local farmers and artisans in our Hawai’i region! ⁠

Hawai'i is known for its local pineapple crop worldwide, but there are a variety of other commodities that are farmed across the islands.⁠

Most local crops can be grown year-round as the temperatures do not fluctuate severely, and each island has microclimates that influence the crops. Warmer temperatures in the summer, shorter days in the winter, or wetter conditions during hurricane season can all affect yield, quality, and availability, but there is a growing presence of greenhouse, aquaponic, and hydroponic practices.⁠
