Jimmy Nardello Peppers are originally from Ruoti, Italy, these unique heirloom seeds were imported by the Nardello family in the late 1800s. ⁠

After arriving to Ellis Island, they landed in⁠ Naugatuck, Connecticut, where the family has lived ever since. The pepper itself is similar in appearance to a Long Hot, but vibrant red in color, with a twisted, curved shape. Like a Shishito, its thin-walled nature makes it easy to prepare with olive oil and salt, and the notable sweetness really shines when roasted, grilled, or sautéed. Now available in our FreshPoint Atlanta location.⁠
