Ran-Lew Dairy Milk Company has had about 85sq ft for cold storage since 2009. Orders have now increased that the farm ran out of cold storage about 2 weeks ago.

With the new donated trailer, we’ve more than quadrupled their cold storage, allowing them to apply for a grant through the University of Tennessee to buy equipment to start making yogurt. Making yogurt would allow them to buy milk from other small local dairy farms that are struggling, and have a meaningful impact on the local dairy industry in central and eastern NC.
