FP DiTomaso’s is a full service produce warehouse serving the state of Alaska.  We were founded in 1990 when our two founders saw a need for a better way to get fresh produce to Alaska.  At the time, produce deliveries came to Alaska via the barges twice a week, Sunday and Tuesdays.  We implemented a system using the barges, as well as trucks that came up via the Alaska/Canada (ALCAN) Hwy and air freight for more sensitive items.  This new system allowed for multiple deliveries of fresh produce throughout the week.  We specialize in BYPASS Mail orders to remote Bush communities as well as servicing customers on the road system.  In 2015, we were purchased by Sysco and that new partnership has brought many added bonuses to our program including a rigorous Food Safety Program, increased buying power and the ability to choose what fields our produce comes from.  All of this means a fresh, higher quality and safer product for our customers! We have two facilities. These two facilities allow us to carry a varied line of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as value added processed items that are cut right here in Alaska.

FP DiTomaso’s

FP DiTomaso’s is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sysco Corporation, is a warehouse facility that receives, stores and distributes food, equipment and chemicals to restaurants, health care facilities, institutions and schools. Our warehouse is 25,000 square feet and consists of dry and refrigerated storage areas. We distribute product throughout Alaska. FP DiTomaso’s distributes a variety of goods, including but not limited to fruit, vegetables, salads, eggs, and dairy.

FP Dito’s

FP Dito’s is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sysco Corporation, is a production facility that receives, processes, and distributes fresh cut fruits, vegetables, and salad kits.  Our facility is 5,000 sq. ft. and consists of refrigerated production areas. We distribute product to FP DiTomaso’s and Sysco Alaska who then distribute throughout Alaska. FP Dito’s has a Preventive Controls plan/HACCP plan. FP Dito’s is audited annually by a GFSI certifying body. FP Dito’s was established January 2005.

Cahaba grows the freshest hydroponic micro greens, herbs, petite lettuces, and specialty pea shoots, harvested daily and cut to order before shipping nationwide. Grown in environmentally controlled greenhouses, their greens receive nutrient-rich water delivered directly to the root, then recycled and reused, using significantly less water than traditional methods.

Chefs use Cahaba products not only as a garnish, but also as a unique and flavorful condiment to their signature dishes, delivering vibrant flavor and exceptional quality with impressive shelf life.
