It's Wallpaper Wednesday...and we are talking about our cutting fresh solutions with FreshPoint FreshCuts®!

When you buy FreshCuts you get more than just a coleslaw blend, you are getting freshly cut produce consistently cut for your signature recipes. Consistently important, and that’s where we can help. While there is nothing wrong with hand-slicing cabbage, when you get a case of FreshCut coleslaw blend, the cabbage is all sliced to the same size, allowing for your dishes to come out of the kitchen the same every time.

Consistency is also a food cost consideration, too thick of a slice, and you are sending money out the door, too thin, and your guests may feel “cheated.” Even out your food cost considerations, your waste, and your inventory management and let us take care of the coleslaw blend for you.

Add a little color to your workspace with this vibrant desktop wallpaper. Click the link to download the wallpaper and then scan to see this month’s recipe idea of Grilled Chicken with Coleslaw. 🥬 Light and crisp, coleslaw can really cut the richness of a dish. In this case, the freshness of the citrus juice 🍋 creates a fresh and crisp bed for the flavorful grilled chicken from BuckheadNewport Meat & Seafood. We think this is a great menu suggestion to usher in springtime. 🖥️

Achiote pepper paste is a staple seasoning in Puerto Rico, known for adding a vibrant red-orange color and an earthy, peppery flavor to dishes. It’s commonly used with rice, beans, and meats on the island. Traditionally, achiote is made by infusing oil with spices and seeds like annatto.

Available locally at FreshPoint Puerto Rico.

Martex Farms was established in 1989. During the first five to six years, the focus was on planting and developing their mango orchards until they reached full commercial production.

Since then, Martex has continued to grow by expanding production through the acquisition of new farms and diversifying their offerings. Today, they proudly supply FreshPoint Puerto Rico with a beautiful array of bananas, avocados, plantains, and mangos.

Their natural sweetness and hearty texture make them ideal for roasting, adding rich flavor and vibrant color to any dish. From cozy sides to roasted veggie bowls, carrots bring that comforting, seasonal touch chefs love to serve all winter long.

🌟 Fun fact: Did you know carrots were originally purple, white, and yellow before the orange variety became popular?
