Great for cooking or for presentation, the fragrance of Fig Leaves is reminiscent of coconut. We found a recipe by a French chef who cooks Chestnuts in a Dutch oven lined with Fig Leaves. When fish is wrapped and cooked in Fig Leaves, the leaves impart a fruity, smokey flavor.
