Description:
The beautiful jewel-tone of Baby Gold Beets is a welcome addition to any plate. Their flavor is indistinguishable from that of baby red beets, but their color is what sets them apart. In order to limit the bleeding of color from beets, cut the beet tops off 1 to 1 1/2 inches from their base, and steam or roast the beets without peeling them. Once the beets are cooked, the skins will slip off easily and will have bled very little.
