Grown in Oaxaco, Mexico since the 1800s, this 8 is heart-shaped, sweet and 8y. Its skin is yellow-orange streaked with ruby red making its appearance as appealing as its vigorous taste. A beefsteak variety, the Marvel Stripe has thin skin but holds together well when sliced, which is a great serving recommendation. Slice, salt and dress with a little olive oil for a beautiful early autumn salad.
