FreshPoint Atlanta’s 2017 is off to a great start as they move into their long-awaited brand new facility Saturday, January 21, 2017.
Moving into a building of this size is a carefully orchestrated event to say the least. Over a year of planning has gone into place and it will all pay off this week as they settle into their new digs and hit the ground running.
So Cal native son Andy Sheaffer is relatively new to farming. For years, he traveled the United States as a contractor specializing in slope stabilization and erosion control. Away from home six months of the year, Sheaffer wanted to spend more time at home with his wife and three children. Born, raised, and educated in Santa Barbara County, he put his feet firmly on home turf in 2008 by purchasing an Avocado and Lemon ranch with a 180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean. Soon after purchasing the land, Sheaffer made some big changes.
For the first time, PF Chang’s gives out “Supplier of the Year” award.
Last night FreshPoint was awarded Supplier of the Year at the first annual P.F. Chang’s Partner Conference! Ted Beall, Chris Cahoon, and Robert Gordon were on hand to accept the award presented by Steve Miller, VP of Supply Chain for P. F. Chang’s.
